November 20, 2008
It's been a very fun and eventful week for me. The long awaited day for Twilight finally came. I tried to prepare for the late night we were going to have but it just reminded me that I am getting old. The movie started at midnight and got over around 2:30. We didn't get to bed until 3:30 and then got up at 6:00. I felt like a zombie the rest of the day, but well worth it. I really enjoyed the movie and actually went back and saw it again on Saturday by myself.

Wednesday night was the Carrie Underwood and Little Big Town concert. Bradley, Chris and Heidi all got tickets for their birthday. Laurianne is such a great sport to tag along with my family. I love our concert memories. It was a very good high energy concert. We all had a great time. We had dinner at Chili's and then headed over to the sold out concert at the E-Center. Concerts are my way of getting away. I forget all my troubles and just listen to the music that inspires me everyday!

Twilight Movie
Well, it's official. I am now a new member of the twilight saga. I started Twilight to prepare for the first movie coming out thinking it would take me that long to read it, and much to my very pleasant surprise I am 100% completely addicted. I am now reading Eclipse (the 3rd book out of a 4 book series) and will probably finish the whole series by then. I resisted as long as possible but I finally gave in and I am so glad I did too! Maureen and I got our midnight tickets and we'll be there with the rest of the crazies! I can't wait.

Halloween!!
Alex and I went to a Halloween party hosted by his work friends. It was fun, but I guess I am just not a party kind of girl (especially when I don't know anybody) however, I did get a kick out of watching my husband trying to dance (which he only does when he gets a few drinks in him and in the privacy of our own home of course). So those of you who never get to see him dance, this is what it looks like. It always makes me laugh! The reason I say that parties aren't for me is they had this game where everybody chose a puzzle piece. Then you had to find the people at the party that completed your puzzle and do a skit based on what was written behind the completed puzzle. My groups puzzle said "A man was impregnated. Who done it and how?" Well I didn't want to do the skit and I don't like being put on the spot, so then I just got in a bad mood. After all is said and done it was a pretty fun party. I am just learning that I need to step outside my comfort zone sometimes. And if your wondering I did not do the skit...maybe next time.
